10 Tips on How to be a Better Team Player!!

(No Specific Order.. These are just 10 random tips)

1. When a task given and it goes horribly wrong, own up to it.  Never blame another team member. (A lot of people should take note to this tip…)
2. If you are great at something, coach or teach another player about it.  Giving out knowledge only makes the team better.
3. Show new team members where to go.. Don’t just let them run around like fools.. Show them the way..
4. Be Open to new ideas.  Do not discourage  another team members idea.  When implementing a new idea do not criticize it every step of the way. You never know it could work!
5. Do not give an excuse when someone is giving you feedback on your poor performance.  You should be open to criticism it will make you a better player.
6. Give credit when credit is due.  If a teammate does something good let em know. Keep it positive.
7. Do not complain and cry about every situation that comes up.  Flipping out and complaining in the game only blocks communication.. Do something about it and quit your crying!!
8. Communicate!!! If you don’t communicate with your teammates then you might as well sell your mic.  The best teams have the best communication.
9. Do your Job!! If you are given a position to hold or an objective to do then go out and do it..  There is no such thing is no “I don’t like that spot” or “I got a better idea”.. Don’t worry about STATS!! Stats will come if you execute your job properly..
10. Get Good at at least one Weapon.. Don’t stress yourself out about mastering all the weapons.. If your not good at the game then just work on one weapon and master that.. It is better to be great with one weapon then being pretty good with all the weapons.. You will be more valuable to the team if your a master of a certain weapon..

The Diaper Returns

Recently The DiaperDandy himself, has been spotted leaving his den where he has spent the whole winter season in hibernation. Now that spring is among us The Diaperdandy, like many beasts of the wild,  must begin anew. He has already gotten a good jump on things, and started a new team, Team LRSD Emotion. The team will be comprised of what was left of Bravo, along with some unnamed members possibly jumping on board (we are still ironing out the details).  Look for Emotion to begin tearing apart the competition in GameBattles

Team LRSD to become Brand Name? 

Recently some loose lips have leaked speculation that Team LRSD may become a brand name. What does this mean? Well… it kind of goes like this, The LRSD is made up of many individuals competing on more than one team, There are also some that would like to compete in other games ( UFC undisputed 2009, perhaps) so to say that Team LRSD is just ONE team is a bit misleading. The reality of it is The LRSD is comprised of many different teams, making it more of a brand name than an individual unit. I wouldn’t be surprised if we started to see “LRSD” appear in front of way more than just Call of Duty Teams. (Team LRSD Pro anyone?…)

What is the definition of Teamwork?

“Teamwork is a joint action by two or more people or a group, in which each person contributes with different skills and express his or her individual interests and opinions to the unity and efficiency of the group in order to achieve a common goal.”

This does not mean that individuals on the team are no longer important.  Each individual must be able to carry out their job.  What it does mean is that the team comes before any individual or individual accomplishment. In order to be a successful team everyone on the team must buy into the fact that “No one is better then the Team.”

What is a Team Player?

“A person who can function effectively as part of a group of individuals, sharing information and striving towards a common goal.”

Team player does not mean the player who gets the most kills or the player who thinks hes the best.  A team player is someone that will always put the team first and not worry about his own individual stats.  Yes, good stats are important if you want to win the game but having great stats doesn’t necessarily make you a good team player.

    Recently i have taken actions, and made decisions that were not so favorable to the LRSD. After many members of Bravo Team were promoted to Alpha, I was left pretty much teamless. I took it upon myself, to start another gamebattles team, completely separate from the LRSD and continue to do GameBattles matches. I went about this pretty sneakily as some would say, and I upset quite a few people.
    I realize now, after talking with some LRSD members, that my actions and attitude quite frankly “suck”. I neglected my obligations to the team as a leader, council member, and reporter. Instead of focusing my attention, loyalty, determination, and motivation on making The LRSD, the best team that i possibly could, I put all of that into myself, and as you have all heard before… ” There is no I in Team”
    And for all of this drama, and flat out bulls**t, i have caused the team, and for those who feel betrayed by what I have done, I know what I deserve for it, yet i come to you immensely humbled with my most sincere apology.

DiaperDandy & Magic Wooshy Return..But For How Long??

DiaperDandy and Magic Wooshy have finally returned to the LRSD and are ready to make a commitment to the team.  These guys were once Alpha Team members and but have recently returned to find themselves on Bravo Team. Do you think they should just automatically return to Alpha Team?? Should they have to work there way up through Bravo Team??? Do they even know how to play the game???

A lot of these questions Diaper and Wooshy will have to answer in the upcoming weeks.. If you ask me I think there return to the LRSD won’t be for long..

Too Many People.. Just Too Many People

Are their too many people on Alpha Team?  Is 22 people on the roster enough?? Does Alpha Team need more people??

Considering the fact that only 4 to 6 people can get to play in one game battles game at a time 22 people may just be too many people. If the LRSD goes into a 5v5 that’s 17 people on the bench. What are the 17 people going to do play patty cakes??

Think about this for a second.. In the NBA only 5 people can take the floor at one time for a team and an NBA team only carries 15 players on their roster (With 12 being eligible to play every night).  Right now the LRSD Alpha Team has a full football team for its lineup. They can go play Madden and actually have a person for each position on offense and defense.

Maybe.. Mad Dog is getting a little soft and calling too many people up to Alpha Team.. Maybe.. Mad Dog is starting to get caught up in this new wave “Everybody is a Winner” system that goes on in today’s world.

Remix .. Chub.. Do you want him back?

Chub aka Remix was recently thrown off Bravo Team and out of the LRSD completely (Again!!).. This was not the first time Chub was banished from the LRSD for his selfish play.  During his time in the LRSD Chub rose up and became the leader of the somewhat successful Charlie Team.  Chub has recently apologized and wants to return to the LRSD family.. So We are asking the people to decide… Do you want Chub aka Remix back???

O Transition Ooo Where did you go?

Transition another LRSD member that was removed from the LRSD about a month ago wants a 2nd chance.  Supposedly he was removed for calling several players on the LRSD bad at the game. Transition wrote an e-mail to the team apologizing for his actions and is asking for your forgiveness.    I’m not sure  if many of you know Transition but I am asking the people to decide again.. Do you want Transition Back??
