KillTyrant is back from vacation and has agreed to terms with Charlie Team.  If you’ve been around the LRSD then you know KillTyrant.  KillTyrant was one of the best players in the game before he went on vacation and is currently undefeated when playing in matches with the LRSD. KillTyrant is a huge last minute addition to an already solid Charlie Team line up.  KillTyrant will be the ace Charlie Team was missing and he might put this team over the top.

KillTyrant mere presence on the battlefield strikes fear into opposing teams.  Takedown is also a big fan of KillTyrant and he believes in his ability to “Do Work”.  Takedown said “KillTyrant has Takedown-esk ability.  He is a beast and we’d probably would of called him up to A Team if he didn’t get this deal done with Charlie Team.”

BobBigcack reached out to KillTyrant at the right time and made this deal happen.  KillTyrant was offered a 1 year deal with incentives.  The amount of the deal will not be disclosed at this time.  I’m sure there was a quality signing bonus that went a long with the deal. With this addition by Charlie Team the betting line for the Bravo vs Charlie match up will probably be even money.

The Bravo vs Charlie match up is coming up and everyone is fired up. Bravo Team is locking up their roster and Charlie Team is putting together their game plan.  Everyone around the LRSD is wondering who is going to win.  Is Charlie better then Bravo Team? Will Bravo Team show Charlie Team why B comes before C?

After looking at the lineups its hard to say who really is going to win this Best of 7 series.  Bravo Team is filled with mainly new members and only two real long term veterans in GrimPunisher and Paco.  Bravo is hungry for respect and ready for battle.  Charlie is mainly old veterans with two former Alpha Team members BobBigCack and HighFive.  Charlie feels they have been disrespected by Bravo Team and they want to put them in there place. All I can say is “Its going to be a battle”.

Bravo Team has bolstered there line up in the past few weeks so it’s going to be interesting to see if they can build some chemistry quickly.   Bravo has a lot of new players but the core has been playing together for about a month right now. Paco, Jigsaw and Chub represent the heart of Bravo Team and they want nothing more then to dominate Charlie Team and shut them up. JigSaw and Paco are the vocal leaders of the Bravo and they will have their team ready for war.

Charlie Team is a rowdy group of players and they have been playing together for a while now.  They can’t stand all the attention Bravo Team has been getting lately and they want the spotlight.  Charlie Team has a lot of skilled players but they do lack organization and leadership.  These guys were the old Bravo Team that was lead by Feccy J and no one has really taken control of this team since.  If they want to win this series a leader must emerge.

Who will Win

My bet would be Bravo Team.  They are more organized and have great leaders already in place.  Charlie is a talented group but they are a major Cluster F**ck.  Charlie operates like a bunch of chickens with there heads cut off and I dunno if they can handle the Bravo Team straight up in battle. Charlie may have more talent but Bravo is becoming a well oiled machine like Alpha Team. If Charlie Team has a problem with Gymbo’s prediction then they got to prove me wrong.

Gymbo’s Prediction: Bravo Team takes the series 4 to 2.

Takedown’s Prediction: No Comment

Mad Dog’s Prediction: No Comment

Is it the amazing ability of Jigsaw to spot pure talent? Is it his desire to form the second greatest team theLRSD has ever seen, or is it his secret desire to one day be calling the shots as LRSD leader? Maybe… but for now it was pure luck.

To make a long story short, Jigsaw was browsing the forums on the GB W@W home page, when he spotted a cry for help from two guys who were on their knees begging to become part of an elite team. Jigsaw decided to give them a shot, and brought them into a Bravo – Charlie scrim. They knew nothing of the LRSD’s strategies or who they were even really playing with for that matter. They went in and nobody knew what hit them. The pleaded with Jigsaw to be a part of the Clan and he decided to give them the Ceremonial Initiation, and heres how it went down…

First up was Fatality he got a Team Deathmatch on Makin. He picked his weapon class and headed out into the unknown and…. BAM the kid went 34-5… Unbelievable! I have to check with the powers that be on this one guys but im pretty sure that may be the 2nd place record for initiation.

Second went Elite Killer. Team Deathmatch on Castle. The members of Bravo Team gave him a few words of encouragement (dont die), and like mother bird, kicked him out of the nest on his own. He also put up pretty impressive numbers going 11-5.

These two new initiates have been playing together for quite a while, and it is going to be very interesting to see what they bring to Team Bravo.

So as it stands the roster looks like this, and this may be final.

  • Jigsaw
  • Chub
  • Paco
  • Grim Punisher
  • Eat Snipe
  • Fatality
  • Elite Killer
  • Bobby Shadow (IR/Backup)
  • JMD Snipes (backup)
Please note… This is not the starting GB roster as that is yet to be Determined.
Stay tuned for more Bravo Team news

A Lot has been going on the world of the LRSD. There have been even more roster changes in Bravo and Charlie Teams, to try to find the best fit for both. Recent addition to the LRSD, OverRated OverDosed, was traded, along with Pafinator To Team Charlie. Long time LRSD Member GrimPunisher was added to Bravo.

We wish Charlie team well and good luck!

Today Bravo Team had two new recruits, JMD Snipes (snipes for short) and Eat Snipe (Eatsnipe for short?).

JMD Snipes has been playing with the LRSD for a couple days now, and he has definitely proven himself on the Battlefield. He was given the opportunity to take the grueling, and nerve-wracking LRSD initiation challenge and he BOMBED! But Snipes didn’t lose to the other team NO!, He in fact Beat himself. After a little bit of smacking around and encouragement from JigSaw and other members of the LRSD, he went into a Team Deathmatch on Makin armed with nothing but a PPSH and a refined sense of confidence, and HE GOT IT DONE! Congratulations Snipes!

EAT SNIPE was brought into a match by JMD Snipes just for fun, and he pretty much OWNED the other team! JigSaw thought, “Maybe he had a really good match, everyone does sometimes.” but then he did it Again, and Again, and Again! and after a very short deliberation by the members of Bravo he was also given the chance to take the Initiation Challenge. He Went into a Team Deathmatch on Cliffside with his trusty STG-44 and started out very strong, and stayed strong to the end ultimately completing the challenge, and becoming the newest member of the LRSD and Bravo Team.

Congratulations from all go out to JMD Snipes and Eat Snipe, on making it to one of the Most Elite clans in Gaming the LRSD!

The current Bravo Team roster is:

  • JigSaw
  • Paco
  • Chub
  • GrimPunisher
  • Shadow
  • JMD Snipes
  • EAT SNIPE

Bravo Team now has a lot of work to do, on Solidifying their team into one unbreakable unit, getting their strategies down to become second nature, and …

Taking on the Charlie Team in a no-holds-barred, 6v6, 7 match series, sponsored by Alpha Team. Both teams will be competing for prizes. There will be Turtle Beach Headsets up for grabs, among other stellar prizes. Good Luck to both teams!

Thats it for now stay tuned for more

Hey everyone, Jigsaw here, and today im gonna give you a little rundown on throwing Grenades.

Way too often I see players aiming straight up, and launching grenades hoping to hit someone. While this technique can, and sometimes does work, Im going to give you tips on how to most effectively use this very powerful, yet scarce weapon.

In Call of Duty: World at War there are three types of Primary Grenades; Frag, N 74 ST (Sticky), and Molotov. Each of these are very different and effective in their own way

FRAG

The Frag Grenade is The Most common type of grenade you will see. It damages enemies by sending shrapnel

flying into anyone nearby. They can be thrown the furthest, and will bounce off walls. Some tips for using these are:

  1.  Take Aim – Although this sounds simple many people just toss, and pray. Determine the best place to throw it and then let it go.
  2. Cooking – The Frag has a five second fuse, which means once you press RB you have five seconds before it detonates. If you cook a grenade before throwing it near an enemy, many times it will not show up on their screen, and you have an easy kill. The “timer” can be determined by counting the pulses of the cross hairs, one pulse per second. I find cooking the grenade for three seconds most effective for short distance tosses, and 1 1/2 to 2 seconds most effective for long distance tosses.
  3. Use Obstacles to Your Advantage – Have you spotted a guy behind hard cover, and the deep impact perk isn’t quite working? Try bouncing a frag off a nearby wall into his position, you would be surprised how well this works compared to trying to throw it over him.
N 74 ST (sticky):

The sticky grenade is primarily an anti-tank grenade. It sticks to almost any surface it is thrown at, has a very small blast radius, and it doesnt cook, meaning you can hold it as long as you want. some tips for

 using these are:

  1. Try to Equip Them on Maps With Tanks – The sticky can easily destroy one of those pesky enemytanks while it is flaming, damage its armor, or disable its skids (wheels). Once those tanks are destroyed, you can continue fighting, without worrying about getting a mortar shell straight to the head.
  2. Direct Stick – If an enemy is rushing at you fast, or catching you off guard around a corner, a direct stick is a great, and sadisticly satisfying way to stop them “dead” in their tracks.
  3. Stealth Kill – Throwing a sticky at a wall or obstacle near enemies is a pretty good way to take them out before they know what hit them.
Molotovs:
Molotov coctails as they are called, are nothing but glass bottles filled with fuel, and a rag acting as a wick. They are pretty much direct hit killers, an will burn for quite a few seconds, damaging enemies who walk through it. Some tips for using these are:
  1. Anticipate – Molotovs take a couple seconds to light, so make sure you have plenty of time to use these before attempting to toss.
  2. Direct Hit – Molotovs are most effective when they are thrown directly at an enemy, they are engulfed in flames and pretty much die instantly, again make sure you have enough time to light the wick before throwing
  3. Burning out the Enemy – Have you spotted somebody sneaking through the tall grass on Seelow? Are enemies holding up a tight corridor? Try burning the enemy out. Toss one of these into the grass, and watch it burn exposing and possibly damaging the enemy. Toss it down that corridor to heat things up a bit, and watch them flee to an open area.
Remember guys in most instances you only have one grenade, or with the Primary X2 perk you have two, use them wisely. Multiple kills are always better than 1, so try to put them where a few enemies are located. Grenades can be the difference between killing and getting killed.
