TEAM LRSD

The LRSD will be hosting their first ever online Madden league. Their will be a cash prize of 250.00 dollars for the winner. We are looking to have 16 + participants in league. If you are interesting in signing up leave a comment on this post or contact Gymboslice or Mad Dog directly.

We will be having a team selection draft. I know a lot of people probably want to be the Super Bowl Champion Giants or the Super Bowl losers the Patriots so we will have to give everyone a fair shot at those teams.

I would personally would like to get as many teams as possible. Mad Dog says 16 should be enough.

If you are not committed don’t bother signing up.

The League will begin two weeks after the release of Madden. That will give everyone plenty of time to get the game and practice.

2nd Place = You are crowned as the 1st Place loser.

Skippy Boo has been banished from the LRSD forever. His behavior will not be tolerated. Skippy Boo has been showing up to battle in poor shape and has been mouthing off to fellow teammates. Skippy Boo’s best friends Jack Daniels and Jim Beam have gotten him in trouble with the LRSD before but this time Skippy went too far. Skippy has a record of bad behavior and this time Mad Dog had enough. Skippy Boo has just blown his last chance with the team.

Gymboslice said “For all you young kids out there we would like to apologize for Skippy’s actions he has been a poor role model and the LRSD will use better judge when recruiting members in the future.”

Mad Dog said “This will not be tolerated by the LRSD. We have a fun environment and no punk is coming in and ruining it. We can deal without Skippy. His attitude has always been poor and he is a morale killer when he is around. The LRSD will keep moving on and we won’t miss a beat.”

Skippy Boo was unavailable for comment and I have a feeling this truly was the last time we saw Skippy Boo in battle with the LRSD.

The Magic Boys took to the battlefield and struggled out the gate but prevailed with a victory and improves to 1-0. The Magic Boys faced a very tough Paf and Stars team and they got taken the distance. We needed double overtime to decide the outcome. The favorites of this tournament didn’t look sharp but they got the job done when it counted the most.

Game One – Crash

Paf and Stars came into this game as the underdogs but were able to gain the respect of the Magic Boys after game one was said and done. Wooshy struggled and Feccy J carried and the Magic boys prevailed in a close contest. Paf and Stars had a lead going into round 6 and had a chance to put the Magic Boys down but the victory slipped from there grip and the tourney favorites pulled out game one 4-3.

Magic Wooshy said “I was shooting like shit in game one. I wasn’t prepared for a game at this time and I’m sure I will turn it around in the future.”

Feccy J said “I can’t win this tournament by myself. I need Wooshy to carry his share. My back just won’t hold up with that kind of weight.

Game Two – Strike

Paf and Stars continued to pressure the Magic Boys and took an early 2-0 lead in the game. Both teams were making very big tactical mistakes during this game and leaving the A bomb site wide open. Both teams took advantage of the lack of defense and we say a lot of bomb planing. Paf and Stars got the better of the Magic Boys this round and Wooshy continued to struggle. Wooshy couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn and it showed as Paf and Stars took the game 4-3.

Game Three – Overtime (Videoed by Damage)

This game was a laugher. No one got any kills. No one moved from there spawns and this death match was the first ever 0-0 score in LRSD history. Both Teams looked scared to drop the first game of the tournament.

Game Four – Double Overtime – Shipment (Videoed by Damage)

This Game was captured carded by Pro Gamer Damage and it was a great game. The death match was a seesaw battle going back and fourth till the later part of the match. Wooshy showed up in this one and dominated like the Magic Wooshy we known and love. Wooshy and Feccy J pulled away in the last 3 minutes of the match and took the game 490 to 390.

The Magic Boys pulled out the victory but it wasn’t pretty. They still are the team to beat. The Magic Boys showed a lot of heart by battling back time and time again. Pafinator and Nards were very impressive despite losing this one. Look for these two teams to meet in the playoffs. I expect both teams to be there at the end.

RDawg scores another victory for LRSD regular by defeating Hardcore Team Leader DarkKnightsCon in a one on one cage match. RDawg proved to be too much for the hardcore leader and defeated him by a score of 10-6. Skippy Boo instigated the fight and RDawg finished it. RDawg didn’t want to fight DarkKnights but he insisted so RDawg went to work. The hardcore team is now 0-3 versus LRSD Regular in matches known by the media.

RDawg said “I didn’t want to do it. I have respect for the hardcore leader but he forced me into a corner and I had to show him my skills. Obviously I was the better man that day and probably will be on most days.”

Looks like the Hardcore leader needs to go soul searching and find his game. I wonder what his excuse is going to be this time. Was it His gun wasn’t clean enough? Was it his boots weren’t tied properly? Was he a 100% healthy for this game? Who knows what his excuses are going to be but I’m waiting to hear it this time.

The media believes RDawg is just better. RDawg has been moving up the ranks of the LRSD and his victory over DarkKnight’s just proves he is still working hard. The win for RDawg doesn’t come at a total surprise. RDawg has recently been promoted to Alpha Team Leader (Due to Feccy J’s poor play. He has been Suspended for two weeks without pay).

With part of Alpha Team moving and forming the LRSD Elite (Gymboslice, Mad Dog, Takedownspecial, The DiaperDandy, Magic Wooshy, Jeffrosaw) and the other part forming the LRSD FAST (BobBigcack, KillTyrant, StarNards and Ghost), RDawg is left controlling the rest of Alpha Team. RDawg has slim pickings but Mad Dog is confident that RDawg will be able to construct a solid team out of the rest of the LRSD.

Odius was in attendance for this match and he said “Wow I couldn’t believe it. RDawg made it look easy. Was that really the leader of hardcore? If so he better report to Mad Dog boot camp with the rookies ASAP.”

Skippy Boo said while drinking his Jim Bean “DarkKnightsCon looked like he was shooting in the Dark. I haven’t seen him shoot that bad ever. RDawg has come a long way, maybe he is just better. The LRSD Regular seem to have Hardcores number in everything.”

Both Rounds must be played by the weeks end. If for whatever reason you can not schedule a game for either of your two matches, report the reason to Gymboslice, Jeffrosaw, Takedownspecial, DiaperDandy, Magic Wooshy or Mad Dog. This tournament needs to get underway.

Forfeits will be handed out if necessary.

These are real prizes we are giving out. The headsets cost around $50 and up. The Microsoft points should be at least $10-$20 per teammate in points. If you don’t want to take this tournament serious we will cancel the event and crown Gymboslice and Jeffrosaw Champions and they will be given the headsets because they do not own a pair of quality head sets like the ones we are giving out.

The Whyties vs Pacos Pecker – Due to the team Paco’s Pecker not showing up Monday Night (07/29/08), they were handed a forfeit by DSRL Leader Dark Nights Con. The Whyties move on to round two with a 2-0 record for games, 8-0 record for matches. It also looks like Paco’s Pecker teamate Paco5000 is leaving for a trip so anticipate for this team to forfeit out completely.
