Feccy J had the Madden Champion of the LRSD Gymbo on the ropes last night but he couldn’t finish the fight. Feccy went into the 4th quarter with the lead 10 to 7. Feccy drove down the field like a champion and scored a touchdown to increase the lead to 10 points with 3 mins and 30 seconds left to go in the game.  Gymbo’s hopes of retaining his title were slim to none but you can’t count out the heart of a champion.

Trailing by two scores in the 4th quarter Gymbo needed a quick score.  On Gymbo’s first play of the fourth quarter he threw a pass to the sideline that broke off for a long touchdown run.  It was the quick score Gymbo needed if he wanted a chance to win the game.  Gymbo barely used any time at all on that series and there was 3 mins left in the game. Feccy J left the door open a crack and Gymbo saw the light and smashed right through.

Now Gymbo needed a defensive stop but Feccy has been driving down field with short dinks and dunks all over the field.  Feccy needed two or possibly 3 first downs to run out the clock and lock up the victory.

Gymbo let up one first down and things were starting to look bleak.  Thankfully for Gymbo’s great wisdom and clock management skills he had 3 timeouts and a two minute warning remaining.  Gymbo eventually forces Feccy J to 3rd down and long.  Gymbo is out of timeouts and Feccy J can either run the ball and waste more clock or pass the ball and try and get the first. Feccy J is a gambler and he makes the big mistake of going for the win and stops the clock with an incomplete pass.

With 1 minute and 30 seconds left on the clock Gymbo recieves the punt and starts his drive for victory.  With no timeouts left, Gymbo drives down the field with the ageless wonder Kurt Warner and scores the game winning touchdown with 20 seconds left in the game.

Gymbo said afterward “Feccy J played a great game but the true champion prevailed.”

Hey everyone, its WoosHy I would like to announce that “LRSD” is back we had a little delay because of a lot of reasons mostly just all of us have been real busy with the new site and all. We have been working on tons of Projects and even working on putting a Lessons page up on our site to help any up and coming teams. Lessons are a great way for teams to work on strategies and we will work on helping teams communicate better, I have been gaming with the same group of guys for a long time we practically family, the funny thing is most of us are family. Communication is what gave us have numerous victories.

We have many playing styles some we camp, some we rush it matters how we approach each team. Gaming has become more that just playing for fun, Gaming is more than just luck. The good thing about gaming is anyone can get good, but it all comes down to in game decisions . Besides all that I am just happy to say we are back and ready for battle. Mad Dog Gaming has helped us out a lot so I would like to thank them for their support and believing in us. I have some free time on my hands to give lessons and even help strategies. Since our sponsors take good care of us my lessons only cost $10.00/hour $5.00/half hour I am easy to work with and helped many gamers achieve their goals.

The LRSD has returned to battle and you can expect to see them at the top of the leaderboards of the new Call of Duty : World at War standings.  Several members have the Beta version and are prepared for the release of Call of Duty 5 : World at War.  You can find Gymboslice on there killing teams by himself.

We caught up with Gymbo and asked him some questions about the beta version.

Media: Gymbo how do you feel the new Call of Duty : World at War is coming a long?

Gymbo: It’s coming a long great.  Of course you got your lil cheaters hiding under the map but if you were playing Gymbo in the game you would try just about anything to stay out of his kill range.  The weapons are kind of old but this will probably benefit Mad Dog the most. Rumor has it Mad Dog actually invented some of the guns that are being used in the game.  Mad Dog has also influenced a change in the game, instead of helicopters you unleash dogs after you record a 7 kill streak. Where do you think they got that idea?

Media: Is the LRSD ready for battle?

Gymbo: For the most part we are ready.  Lil Jeffro is still having some issues and Takedown is starting to get back in the grove slowly. I’m sure by the time the game releases we will be clicking on all cylinders.

The Madden League will start up in another week.  Currently have several xboxes down and out and have been unable to get online. The xbox break down has caused a major problem and it is currently being resolved.  We are boosting to a better internet connection and currently have XBOX repairs on my end so I am sort of holding up the tournament.

Jeffro’s xbox is down because it couldn’t handle loading a Miami Dolphins vs Oakland Raider Madden game.  Too much talent was about to take to the field and his xbox had a fit and self destructed. Gymbo’s Xbox couldn’t contain his greatness and handle the domination fashion that Gymbo was beating people in Madden so it destoryed itself.  Jeffro and Gymbo spoke with XBOX officials and this will never happen again.  They are working on the problem and it should be corrected by October 2nd.

Have no fear Gymbo is still here!!

Side Note: Jeffro was later defeated by Gymboslice as Gymbo and the Dolphins rolled over Jeffro and the Raiders.  This took place on Gymbo’s Xbox which was later destoryed.

Fantasy Football Notes:

Mad Dog and his fantasy football team are currently 0-3. Mad Dog has made his return to the Gymbo Knows fantasy league and it has been a rather dissappointing start to the season.  Mad Dog predicted great things for his squad but has been shut out in the wins column so far this season.  Can Mad Dog win a Game? Will he be worse then the 2007 Miami Dolphins?  Will Mad Dog just Retire?

Other LRSD Members in the League:

The Great Gymboslice  2-1

Jeffrosaw 3-0

Takedownspecial 2-1

Diaper Dandy 1-1-1

Skankin 1-2

ManCubb 0-3

Knockdown 0-2-1

The LRSD Doubles Tourney has been cancelled due to the lack of motivation by the teams that entered the tourney.  It does not take 6 months to play a tournament.  Hopefully we can regroup and start another tournament when everyone gets there heads on straight.

The headsets will go to Jeffrosaw for his hard work and determination.  He does need two head sets because his head is so big.
