TEAM LRSD

Since it is the end of World at War and the beginning of the new Modern Warfare 2 era, I would like to announce the 2nd class of Hall of Famers that will be joining GymboSlice, Jeffrosaw, Feccy J and BobBigCack in the LRSD World at War Hall of Fame.

The 2nd Class of Hall of Famers are:

TakedownSpecial – Takedown was one of the top guns in the game and pretty much a self proclaimed legend.  Takedown was arguably the best gun the LRSD had during the World at War Era.  Takedown will finally take his rightful place with the rest of the LRSD Hall of Famers.

Mad Dog – After much debate Mad Dog did get enough votes to get into the Hall of Fame. The accusations of him using modded weapons were just merely accusations. These false reports hurt his chances as Mad Dog received just enough votes to get in.  After all Mad Dog has created the LRSD and lead the LRSD to many victories (some by carrying the team on his back).  I guess Mad Dog does deserve some credit for the LRSD overall success.

Jigsaw - Jig was another tough vote but once again he got barely enough votes to get into the Hall of Fame.  Some people have questioned Jigsaw’s gun skills over the World at War season but no one can question Jigs dedication to the LRSD.  Jigsaw was the ultimate team player and this was probably one of the major reasons he will be honored in the Hall.

RazorHead received only 10% of the vote. Sorry Kid you are gonna have to wait till the next round of nomination.

Diaper Dandy received 30% of the vote but you got to get at least 60% of the vote to get in.  Better luck on the next round nominations.

Magic Wooshy also received 30% of the vote but it just wasn’t enough to get in.  Hopefully in the 3rd Hall of fame Class you will see Wooshy and Diaper make it in.

Grim Punisher only got 8% of the vote. Many of the board members felt he was just to young to become Hall of Famer just yet.

Bobby Shadow got a mediocre 23% of the vote but again many of the Hall of Fame board members felt he was just way to young and he never lived up the HYPE Mad Dog created for him.

We will be nominating our 3rd Hall of Fame Class in about two months. So  Stay Tuned.

The time has come that everyone has been waiting for.  The most anticipated game of the year Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is going to be released in five days(four if your going to the midnight release).  With so many pirates and so many leaks the good news is that we have a list of when every weapon is going to released.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you guys know, that some LRSD members have been hard at work planning for the near future, and the fresh start that Modern Warfare 2 brings.

Alot of you have been asking about teams, well I can say that rosters are being roughed out, and we do have a gameplan… however, The Council has decided that with it being a new game, and the likelihood of new talent emerging, that everything remain classified until everyone has gotten a feel for the game.

on release day, feel free to explore the game and have fun with it, but know that your leaders will be hard at work picking apart the multiplayer to come up with strategies for you guys.

NEW THINGS…

We will be opening the forums back up very soon, as not only a way for members new and old to talk about many different things, but most importantly a recruiting tool.
We will have a new forum with an application form for new recruits, and a new system of recruiting, pending approval.

also, we are trying to get more info on the members page, especially for the Veterans and long time LRSD members, so please send JigSaVV x a message on XBL or on aim, with your Name, age, location, weapon of choice, and favorite gametype, and we will get your bio updated.

A new game means new challenges, new members, and new things to come, and of course… a new opportunity to dominate.

After much debate the LRSD Hall of Fame committee has come to a decision and they have nominated 8 possible candidates for the 2nd Hall of Fame class. These candidates will be put on this months Hall of Fame ballet and in order for them to get in they must receive the majority of the votes from the current Hall of Fame committee.

Here are the names that will appear on this months Hall of Fame ballet:

TakedownSpecial: He is sure fire Hall of Famer and is basically a lock to get in.  Takedown was arguably the best gun in the game and carried the team to many victories.  Because he was dragged out of retirement on several occasions he was ineligible for the first Hall of Fame class…

Mad Dog: He looked to be a lock for the Hall of Fame but all these video clips and bad press was released about the great Mad Dog.  Now with the rumors circulating of Mad Dog using performance enhancing weapons we aren’t sure if Mad Dog will get voted in by the committee…

Jigsaw: Another quality player but is Jigsaw good enough for the Hall.  Some have questioned Jigsaws skills at times but he has lead Bravo Team after Bravo Team to many many victories but a lot of controversy surrounded his teams.  As we all know the Hall of Fame isn’t for everyone so we will have to wait and see if its for Jigsaw…

Magic Wooshy: Another great clutch performer for the LRSD. If theres a knock on Magic Wooshy it was the fact that he wasn’t committed enough to the team and never hung around long enough to make a lasting impact….

DiaperDandy: Diaper has pretty much the same story as Magic Wooshy.  He was a great player but not sure he made enough of an impact to really be enshrined in greatness…

Bobby Shadow: Shadow was an amazing young player but some say he never lived up to the hype.  Shadow was only called up to Alpha Team on rare occasions but when he got there he never truely performed like the player everyone expected him to be.  Other then that Shadow was a great Bravo Team / Delta Team player but I’m not sure if thats gonna be enough to get him into the Hall.

RazorHead: Another one of those “what if” players. What if Razor Head played consistent? What if Razor Head was available for more important battles? Razor Head was good some days and not so good other days.  Other then the lack of consistentcy Razor was a solid Bravo Team but I’m not sure he has the tools for the Hall of Fame.

Grimpunisher: Grim was another amazing young player but he also never truely developed into the star he was projected to be.  Grim did have his moments especially during the 1v1 Tourney that never finished, there he was able to defeat several great Alpha Team players.

As most of you Know, LRSD HeLix, went to the final 4 in the Gamebattles Summer 09 Playoffs, but sadly they were beaten today by 3rd ranked Team Xcel. congrats on making it so far guys.

Things have been pretty slow as of late, as most LRSD members are lying dormant, patiently awaiting the release of Modern Warfare 2, on 11.10.09. No word is out as to what team rosters will be, I guess we will have to wait till the game is released to find out. Expect things to pick up again shortly after.
