Last night in an exciting battle the LRSD squared off against the former 2nd ranked team on GameBattles, the Death Blooms. It was a great match and hard fought by both teams with the LRSD emerging as the better team on this night. The LRSD controlled the pace of the battle and they took the three game series 2-0. First Game the LRSD drove the DeathBlooms right off the map in war with relative ease and then finished them off by beating them up in a Team Death Match. The Death Blooms has given the LRSD fits before but not on this night. This time the LRSD challenged them to a game of Map Gen. Map Gen is totally random and it can be any game mode and it is a true test of ones skills in the entire COD: World at War game. It was pretty obvious right from the start last night that LRSD came to play and showed they were the better all around team. They were able to push the Death Blooms all over the map in war and then they took it a huge early lead over the Death Blooms in Team Death Match and coasted to the easy victory. For some strange reason after the game the Death Blooms had the nerve to leave negative feedback about the LRSD saying the LRSD camps and only uses gas grenades. Whether this accusations are true or not this clearly showcased the lack of class and sportsmanship by the Death Blooms and its unfortunate they would have to take this road. We thought the Death Blooms were a class act and all around good guys and I guess that is true until you destroy them on the battlefield. They should of taken the loss like men and not made any excuses. A couple hours after match the Death Blooms disbanded their clan. It’s sad that the LRSD caused the death of the Death Blooms but hopefully this will teach them a lesson. Any Death Blooms Need Help? If any fallen Death Bloom members would like to come join the LRSD please use our contact form and reach out for help. We will offer each of you a tryout with the LRSD… Think About it.. We are only here to help.
We still have a couple guys floating around the LRSD without a team. Before you go out and recruit more players for the LRSD take a look at the guys on Delta / Reserves List. The LRSD free agent list has some quality guys that have been around the LRSD and know a lot of the strategies. If your looking for a tough veteran to play on Bravo or Charlie give one of these guys a shot. RazorHead was a former Charlie Team member and has gotten lost in the recent transition. Razorhead is one the the original members of the LRSD, so hes gotta know something after all these years. The only problem with Razorhead is finding out when he’ll be available for games. RazorHead can throw on a flak jacket with the best of em and clear a mine field for your team. He can be a quality reserve player for either Bravo or Charlie. StarNards has been around for a long time and he will need a team to join when his xbox is repaired. Nards brings a lot of intensity to a team and he’s a true competitor. Nards is a quality gun and would fit well on either Bravo or Charlie. He does have Game Battles experience with the old Charlie Team and when his xbox is fixed he will be a great addition to any team. Bore the former Charlie Team Leader is still in need of a team. This guy may not be the most accurate shooter in the game (90% air, 5% Wall and 5% Body) but he is a body that a team could use on the battlefield. Bore is trainable and he can play well when given the opportunity. He may talk more then he kills enemies but thats just a bonus of having Bore on your team. Bore may of failed as a leader but he is motivated and wants to be apart of a team that does Game Battles. Empreza is still available and is looking for a team to play on. Empreza is a former Alpha Team member that was lost in the transition and Alpha Team will not be bringing him back this Game Battle season. Empreza is a solid sniper and he isn’t bad with a rifle either. Empreza does have Game Battles experience and can be an asset to any team. If you can [...]
Charlie Team Rebuilding There have been some major changes in the last few days with Charlie Team. The Council has brought in some new talent to help rebuild Charlie Team. OverDose has been moved back to Charlie Team and even though his stay on Alpha was short that doesn’t mean OverDose is bad (He’s just not good), it just means the playing time was just not there for him right now on Alpha Team. Pafinator will remain on Charlie Team and he said “I like the new recruits so far.” The New Charlie Squad is rumored to feature Russell Crow, Liath, SupaFlyMunsta, OverDose, KingA and Paf. The council will announce the final roster soon. Several other recruits are still in the interview process. When we asked Mad Dog about this team all he said was “They are going to listen and they are going to win.” BobBigCack Returns to Alpha BobBigCack has unretired and will return to Alpha Team. BobBigCack was an Alpha Team member but retired after his greatest performance ever “The 6 Second Clutch”. After playing with Bore on a regular basis, BigCack decided to come out of retirement and return to Alpha Team. Look for BobBigCack to work his way back into the deep LRSD Alpha Lineup. Bore Goes Delta Bore, Razorhead, Kill Tyrant, HighFive and Nards will be shipped down to Delta Team or just play Pubs. Bore will be given leadership of Delta (Even though he failed with Charlie) and he will have the ability to create and build his own team. Lets see if Delta Team can actually piece together a real team this time. Gymbo Struggles Continue Gymbo has been struggling lately and doesn’t know what is going on. Gymbo is trying everything to get his game back on track. Takedown said “He is going to have to do some serious soul searching if he’s going to continue to get playing time on Alpha Team. It’s not that Gymbo is doing really bad its just Gymbo isn’t being Gymboslice.” We asked Gymbo what seems to be the problem and he said “You can’t put the total blame on me. Yes, I have been playing bad for Gymboslice standards but I think my supporting cast has been struggling lately and that has hurt my performance.” Bravo Team Reloads Bravo Team has removed a few bums from their line up and added some new talent. [...]
Alpha Scrimmages Bravo Alpha and Bravo Team scrimmaged the other night and Alpha won 3 games to 2. Bravo was impressive and fought very hard. They won 2 of the 5 maps the teams played in the scrimmage but lost the 5 game series 3-2. Bobby Shadow was the star of the show and he managed to snipe 4 LRSD Alpha Members in 1 round. Iconz said “I was most impressed with Bobby Shadow and I think he’s going to be really good.” Some people might wondering if Bravo is really that good or did Alpha Team hand them a couple games. 14 Game Win Streak LRSD Alpha is currently riding a 14 game win streak in there Game Battles Season. LRSD Alpha currently holds a record of 28-7. During the win streak they have defeated the 5th, 80th and 110th overall ranked Game Battles Teams. The streak also contains a win over LRSD Bravo in Game Battles by a score of 2-0. The streak has been a great team effort and congrats to everyone involved. Lets see how long this can continue. Bravo Challenges Alpha on Game Battles After the scrimmage some of the LRSD Bravo members felt very confident that they could beat LRSD Alpha in a real match. So they went out and challenged the Alpha Team on Game Battles and paid the price. Scrimmages and Game Battles are two totally different things and Bravo learned that lesson the hard way. Scrimmages are nothing more then a glorified practice but when it comes to Game Battles Alpha Team turns up their intensity a couple notches. Bravo witnessed this by getting smacked down 2-0. This may be why A comes before B in the alphabet. (Scoreboard: Game 1: 4-2, Game 2: 4-0). LRSD Alpha Recruits LRSD Alpha would like to introduce their new recruits RandyMCteig III, Cakefarts13 and ChopstiX McGee. Alpha Team is kinda like the New York Yankees, they just keep stacking up the talent. Randy McTeig and ChopstiX McGee are already making an impact on Alpha Team and have been playing with the Alpha Team during this 14 game win streak. CakeFarts will probably get some playing time later this week. One vs One Tournament LRSD will be hosting its first ever 1 vs 1 tournament. Top prize is rumored to include a capture card. The tournament will take place later this month and it will [...]
Congrats to Bravo Team for defeating Charlie Team and taking the series 4-1. It was a hard fought series but Bravo Team was just too good for Charlie. JigSaw had his team well prepared and they put a hurting on Charlie. My prediction was pretty much right on point, I predicted an easy Bravo Team victory and I was pretty much on point. Charlie Team was a cluster f*ck. and if they are going to get better they need a leader to take charge. (I predicted 4-2, Charlie Dropped a Search in OT. So I was close.) Charlie Team Remember Gymbo Knows! NOTE: Rasca did record the match and the video will be posted ASAP. Rasca will also be posting a more in depth article about the Bravo vs Charlie Battle. Quote of the Week Anyone remember this quote from Charlie Team Leader Bore “It’s going to be easy..We don’t need to practice.” Well, part of his prediction was correct. It was easy… For Bravo Team. He was wrong about practice, that is something Charlie Team needs a lot of. Gymbo’s Thoughts on the Battle I thought it was a great performance by Bravo Team. They put Charlie Team down 3-0 right away and that pretty much sealed the deal. Not many teams can recover from a 3-0 deficit in a 7 game series. Charlie Team did show some heart and they stopped the sweep. Hats off to both teams they put on a good show. Whats Going to Happen with Charlie Team or should I say Delta Team? First, Bore will be fired as leader of Charlie Team. Getting your team prepared to play is the leaders job and he failed to do that. Bore will be a regular member of that team and when the time is right someone will be promoted as official leader. Second, OverDose will be promoted to Alpha Team. Why does OverDose get to join Alpha Team? He is a fierce competitor and deserves to play with a more serious team. OverDose has talent and it would be a waste of talent if we just let him stay on Charlie Team. Congrats to OverDose and hopefully he can make the most of this opportunity. Who will be the leader? The front runners to control this new team will be BobBigCack and Pafinator. Thats if they want the job. If not them maybe someone else [...]
