10 Tips on How to be a Better Team Player!! (No Specific Order.. These are just 10 random tips) When a task given and it goes horribly wrong, own up to it. Never blame another team member. (A lot of people should take note to this tip…) If you are great at something, coach or teach another player about it. Giving out knowledge only makes the team better. Show new team members where to go.. Don’t just let them run around like fools.. Show them the way.. Be Open to new ideas. Do not discourage another team members idea. When implementing a new idea do not criticize it every step of the way. You never know it could work! Do not give an excuse when someone is giving you feedback on your poor performance. You should be open to criticism it will make you a better player. Give credit when credit is due. If a teammate does something good let em know. Keep it positive. Do not complain and cry about every situation that comes up. Flipping out and complaining in the game only blocks communication.. Do something about it and quit your crying!! Communicate!!! If you don’t communicate with your teammates then you might as well sell your mic. The best teams have the best communication. Do your Job!! If you are given a position to hold or an objective to do then go out and do it.. There is no such thing is no “I don’t like that spot” or “I got a better idea”.. Don’t worry about STATS!! Stats will come if you execute your job properly.. Get Good at at least one Weapon.. Don’t stress yourself out about mastering all the weapons.. If your not good at the game then just work on one weapon and master that.. It is better to be great with one weapon then being pretty good with all the weapons.. You will be more valuable to the team if your a master of a certain weapon..
What WILL NOT be tolerated inside the LRSD? There is NO CRYING in baseball and there will be NO CRYING inside the LRSD. We DO NOT complain about the other team using a MOD, Juggernaut, Grenades or whatever some of you cry babies complain about during a match. We DO NOT want to hear bitching and moaning when we are in battle. (The Team is trying to communicate and work together and your complaining is disrupting that..) Team members of the LRSD WILL FOLLOW ORDERS. If a higher ranking member of the LRSD tells you the plan for the match then it is expected that you follow that plan. Example: If a team leader says “Lets go cap B flag” then the team should NOT respond with “No I don’t like that one” or “No we should go to A flag”.. Your team leader is the only one that will be giving out orders during the game and you will follow those orders without question… (Search and Destroy is an exception.. If the leader goes down then follow the chain of command.. If your left a lone then Good Luck!) The LRSD DOES NOT and WILL NOT INSTIGATE fights with another team. Win or LOSE we DO NOT DISRESPECT the other team after the match. Everyone that wears the LRSD TAG will show class and good sportsmanship. After the match if you don’t have anything positive to comment about then DO NOT COMMENT on the match. Do not leave negative feedback. You can leave whatever rating you feel the other team deserves but DO NOT write anything stupid. We are a TEAM and NO ONE is BETTER then the TEAM. There are NO SUPERSTARS in the LRSD. Those who act and feel they are better then the team WILL NOT PLAY for the LRSD. Honestly, I shouldn’t even have to write about this but after last nights first round playoff disappointment its clear that these points had to be addressed again. Those who have broken these codes will be benched throughout the rest of playoffs. Remember: Anyone breaking these simple rules WILL NOT PLAY for the LRSD PERIOD..
Everyone start thinking about who you will be pairing up with for our first LRSD double team tournament. After the 1v1 tournament finishes up then we will move forward with the 2v2 tournament. (If these guys ever finish the 1v1 tournament??) Finally.. We will find out who really is the best double team in the LRSD. The tournament is going to run slightly different from the 1v1 tournament. Instead of stuffing all the teams together in a double elimination bracket at random we are going to split the teams into two divisions/pools. Each team in the division/pool will play each other once or twice with the Top two teams in each division/pool advancing to a mini playoff. Then from there the teams will battle it out in single elimination format for the championship. Tournament Type: 2 v 2, Two vs Two, Double Team (Must be LRSD Members) Game Mode: Search & Destroy Only (Its faster) Prize: TBA (Bragging Rights?) Maps: TBA (Leaning towards Dome, Castle, Courtyard, etc.. What is expect of a LRSD member? Team players The LRSD want players who want to work as a team. The LRSD members must follow orders and do their job. These are TEAM games that we play and no one is better then the TEAM. You don’t have to be the best at the game as long as you are a team player. There are no ME players in the LRSD. There will be No STAT guys on the LRSD. Anyone can be a Pub Star and go 27-2 in Pubs. Please stop trying to impress people with your Pub stats. We don’t care.. Serious or Not The LRSD is not just about competing in Game Battles or other online venues. We are about having fun and playing as a Team. We have our Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta Team rosters for those who want to take the game more serious and play against other teams. If you are not interested in playing on Game Battles and just want to play pubs that is fine with the us. No one is required to play on any of the competitive teams. Fighting with Other Teams There will be no fighting with other teams for no reason at all. Show some class when you play the game and don’t just start fights with other teams in Game Battles, Scrims and Pubs for no reason at all. Stick up for yourselves but don’t just go around starting fights. Remember you are representing the LRSD. Stop Crying Please stop crying about other teams using juggernaut, last stand, mods, mp40, knifes or whatever you guys cry about during the game. You guys know people use that stuff all the time so we don’t need to hear about in game. All it does is make you sound like a b*tch and it leads to fighting with the other team for no reason at all. Motivation If you are on one of the competitive teams then show your motivated and get your other team members to play GB’s rather then playing pubs. Get together with at least 4 to 6 of your teammates and play a bunch of GB games. Its the end of the season so who cares if you lose a lot of games. Not many teams took the LRSD serious but now the LRSD is slowing gaining the respect it deserves. After knocking off several top teams during the regular season people in the gaming community finally had to admit “Hey these guys are pretty darn good.” We are at the final two weeks of the regular season and the LRSD is currently 15th overall and riding an 11 game win streak. We caught up with TakedownSpecial to ask him his thoughts on playoffs. Takedown said “It’s all about playing your best at the right time. It’s single elimination so its going to come down to who doesn’t want to go home the most. One things for sure I know the LRSD doesn’t want to go home. ” How far can the LRSD go in the playoffs? Will they be a threat to take home the title? One thing is for sure I wouldn’t count them out. Chaos Among the Ranks All I know right now is that there is just total chaos through out the Bravo/Charlie/Delta scene. (Delta? Yea I just found out there is a Delta) One of these guys should should definitely get on here and explain what is going on. For some strange reason Bobby Shadow and GrimPunisher were given leadership of Delta Team. 1 v 1 Tourney Please finish your games already! Click Here For Latest Bracket Bobby Shadow vs Feccy J The match up we all have been waiting for is here. Feccy J will square off against his rival “The Future of the LRSD” Bobby Shadow. These two really hate each other and want nothing more then to destory one another. Some say Feccy J is scared Bobby Shadow will one day replace him in the Alpha Team starting lineup. Others say Bobby Shadow is no where nearly as skilled as Feccy and this is just hyped up nonsense created by Mad Dog and GymboSlice. One things for sure.. There will be tons of drama… So stay tuned.
