1. TakedownSpecial (1-0) – Defeated Battojin by KO in the 3rd round.  Awarded KO of the Night Honors but Takedown had the lone KO of LRSD Fights I.

2. GymboSlice (1-0) – Tapped out Mugze with ease in the 1st round. Gymbo looked untouchable in his first fight.

3. Feccy J (1-0) – Defeated Paco in a close unanimous decision. Awarded Fight of the Night Honors.

4. Magic Wooshy (1-0) – Upset JigSaw with a Submission via arm bar. Awarded Submission of the Night Honors.

5. The Diaper Dandy (0-0) – Diaper and Jigsaw couldn’t find a day to fight. Diaper is a solid all around fighter who had a great preseason but we’ll see how he does in the make up fight against Jigsaw.

6. Battojin (0-1) – Pushed Takedown to the limit but suffered a disappointing loss by KO.  Jin probably should be ranked top 5 but a tough first fight match up has him at 0-1.

7. Paco (0-1) – Lost a close decision to Feccy J and his #1 overall ranking. Some fans feel Paco was robbed and should of been awarded the decision.

8. Jigsaw (0-1) – Jigsaw was dominating Wooshy in the early going of their fight but was caught in a submission.  Jigsaw will face DiaperDandy next in a make up fight.

9. Mugze (0-1) – Was dominated by GymboSlice in the first round.  Mugze was unable to show case any skills and will look to bounce back after having a tough match up in his first fight.

10. BryDog (0-0)- BryDog is a dominating striker and he usually knocks out anyone who chooses to stand with him.

11. Fouza (0-0)- Well rounded fighter can cause a problem for anyone who steps in the cage with him.

12. Jake “The Snake” aka GotDip (0-0)- Training partner of Magic Wooshy and is good enough to give anyone a tough fight in the cage.

13. Empreza (0-0) – The Asian Sensation is well rounded and will be a tough fight for anyone who steps in the cage with him.  Empreza is also a four time ninja star throwing champion.

Gymbo vs Mugze

Gymbo came out early scored an takedown and that was pretty much the end of Mugze.  Mugze couldn’t get off his back and Gymbo dominated him with strikes from the mount.  Then Gymbo took his back and sunk in the choke for the easy victory.  Mugze looked out of place in his first fight and hopefully he can bounce back against lesser competition in the future.

Takedown vs Battojin

Takedown and Battojin fought a three round war.  Takedown controlled the fight on the ground and eventually wore out the much larger Battojin and got the KO. Battojin showed he is going to be a solid contender for the title and he will look to bounce back from this loss in his next fight versus Feccy J.

Wooshy vs Jigsaw

Magic Wooshy aka “The Replacement Killer” took the fight with Jigsaw on short notice. Jigsaw came out strong and was giving Wooshy a beating.  Jigsaw was in the guard of Magic Wooshy and was teeing off on Magic’s skull. Then some how Wooshy was able grab a hold of Jigsaw’s arm and secure an arm bar.  It was a shocking upset a lot of people had Jigsaw winning this fight easy by TKO.

Feccy J vs Paco

This was the main event of the evening and it did not disappoint. It was a close back and fourth battle but Feccy J seemed to get the better of Paco in the first two rounds.  Feccy J at one point almost secured a kimura but Paco managed to escape and battle back.  Some may argue that Paco should of won the fight but thats not the way the judges saw it.  All three judges scored the bout 29-28 all in favor of Feccy J.

Where is Jigsaw?  How did he miss his fight with Diaper Dandy? Was he scared of “Razor Sharp” Diaper Dandy?

We currently don’t have the answer to any of those questions and its unfortunate that Jigsaw had to disappear on opening night of fights for LRSD Fights I.  Diaper will be unavailable to fight anytime this weekend so if JigSaw finds the guts to step in the cage sometime this weekend it will have to be against the replacement Magic Wooshy.  Magic Wooshy is a highly underrated fighter and he could give JigSaw a problem whether the fight goes to the ground or stays standing..

Diaper Dandy said “I think JigSaw was afraid.  He knew last night was my only night I’d be available to fight and I had a feeling he didn’t want to step in the cage with me.. I’m a beast… It is dissappointing considering the fact that I have been training real hard for this fight and I wanted to prove to everyone that I’m a contender for the title…. Now that I’ll be out of town for the weekend I’m almost certain Jigsaw will resurface while I’m away… I have a message for Jigsaw when your ready I’ll be glad to whoop on you in the cage in the next LRSD fight card or the one after that.. Whenever your ready kid!!”

Magic Wooshy Looking for a Fight!!

Is anyone interested in Fighting Magic Wooshy?? Wooshy is looking for his first fight of the season and would like to fight on the first fight card of the season. If anyone is interested in fighting Magic Wooshy please contact GymboSlice or Takedownspecial sometime today.

I know a couple of you guys didn’t have a fight yet… (BryDog, Empreza, Jigsaw, Bore, etc.. Who ever else has the game…)

If JigSaw returns Magic Wooshy is willing to step in the cage as a replacement fighter for DiaperDandy.

Bore lashed out at the media and said he “I was the one doing the carrying. I’m tired of not getting the respect I deserve. The media is a bunch of liars and that article was the biggest bunch of bullsh*t I have ever read. I clutched out round and recorded the most points in the round.  Just because I have struggled in the past people assume I am bad at the game. The media should take down that article because its a complete lie….”

Well the Media has a message for you Bore….

People don’t assume you are bad at the game.. They know you are bad at the game.. If your side of the story is true then it was probably a first in your career that you carried a Team to victory.  The media doesn’t lie we just report the news given to us by our reliable sources…

Carrying Bore All Day!

After an 0-3 start Diaper Dandy finally leads Team Emotion to their first victory. It was a close battle and if it wasn’t for Diaper Dandy clutching out a 1 on 2 then we’d be talking about Team Emotions going 0-4.  Diaper Dandy has proven he can still play the game and hopefully this clutch performance earns him the respect as one of the premier players in the LRSD.

Diaper said “Our team was struggling so I took it upon myself to win the game for the team.  I didn’t see anyone stepping up so I had to take over the game… That’s what Diaper Dandy does!!”

Feccy J said “It’s always important to get that first victory under your belt.  We are starting to jell together.. We got a solid 3 man team with Wooshy, Diaper and myself.  We are hoping someone can step up and solidify our 4th and 5th roster spots…  So far it looks like JigSaw is locking up our 4th spot and hopefully for our sake we don’t have to call on Bore to be anything more then an emergency back up. Carrying Bore in battle is like a full time job!!”

Congrats to Team Emotion for finally winning a game..  Hopefully that won’t be their last win of the season.

(No Specific Order.. These are just 10 random tips)

1. When a task given and it goes horribly wrong, own up to it.  Never blame another team member. (A lot of people should take note to this tip…)
2. If you are great at something, coach or teach another player about it.  Giving out knowledge only makes the team better.
3. Show new team members where to go.. Don’t just let them run around like fools.. Show them the way..
4. Be Open to new ideas.  Do not discourage  another team members idea.  When implementing a new idea do not criticize it every step of the way. You never know it could work!
5. Do not give an excuse when someone is giving you feedback on your poor performance.  You should be open to criticism it will make you a better player.
6. Give credit when credit is due.  If a teammate does something good let em know. Keep it positive.
7. Do not complain and cry about every situation that comes up.  Flipping out and complaining in the game only blocks communication.. Do something about it and quit your crying!!
8. Communicate!!! If you don’t communicate with your teammates then you might as well sell your mic.  The best teams have the best communication.
9. Do your Job!! If you are given a position to hold or an objective to do then go out and do it..  There is no such thing is no “I don’t like that spot” or “I got a better idea”.. Don’t worry about STATS!! Stats will come if you execute your job properly..
10. Get Good at at least one Weapon.. Don’t stress yourself out about mastering all the weapons.. If your not good at the game then just work on one weapon and master that.. It is better to be great with one weapon then being pretty good with all the weapons.. You will be more valuable to the team if your a master of a certain weapon..

• There is NO CRYING in baseball and there will be NO CRYING inside the LRSD.  We DO NOT complain about the other team using a MOD, Juggernaut, Grenades or whatever some of you cry babies complain about during a match.  We DO NOT want to hear bitching and moaning when we are in battle. (The Team is trying to communicate and work together and your complaining is disrupting that..)

• Team members of the LRSD WILL FOLLOW ORDERS.  If a higher ranking member of the LRSD tells you the plan for the match then it is expected that you follow that plan.  Example: If a team leader says “Lets go cap B flag” then the team should NOT respond with “No I don’t like that one” or “No we should go to A flag”.. Your team leader is the only one that will be giving out orders during the game and you will follow those orders without question…  (Search and Destroy is an exception.. If the leader goes down then follow the chain of command.. If your left a lone then Good Luck!)

• The LRSD DOES NOT and WILL NOT INSTIGATE fights with another team.  Win or LOSE we DO NOT DISRESPECT the other team after the match.  Everyone that wears the LRSD TAG will show class and good sportsmanship.

• After the match if you don’t have anything positive to comment about then DO NOT COMMENT on the match. Do not leave negative feedback. You can leave whatever rating you feel the other team deserves but DO NOT write anything stupid.

• We are a TEAM and NO ONE is BETTER then the TEAM.  There are NO SUPERSTARS in the LRSD. Those who act and feel they are better then the team WILL NOT PLAY for the LRSD.

Honestly, I shouldn’t even have to write about this but after last nights first round playoff disappointment its clear that these points had to be addressed again. Those who have broken these codes will be benched throughout the rest of playoffs.

Remember: Anyone breaking these simple rules WILL NOT PLAY for the LRSD PERIOD..

Finally.. We will find out who really is the best double team in the LRSD.

The tournament is going to run slightly different from the 1v1 tournament.  Instead of stuffing all the teams together in a double elimination bracket at random we are going to split the teams into two divisions/pools.   Each team in the division/pool will play each other once or twice with the Top two teams in each division/pool advancing to a mini playoff.  Then from there the teams will battle it out in single elimination format for the championship.

Tournament Type: 2 v 2, Two vs Two, Double Team (Must be LRSD Members)

Game Mode: Search & Destroy Only (Its faster)

Prize: TBA (Bragging Rights?)

Maps: TBA (Leaning towards Dome, Castle, Courtyard, etc.. Smaller Maps)

Rules: No Grenade Launcher/Nube Tube (Everything Else Fair Game) Normal GB Rules

Sportsmanship

• Practice Good Sportsmanship
• Do Not Cry about weapons or perks used against your team
• Do Not Quit the LRSD because you lost in the tournament
• Do Not Quit your match before it ends
• Do Not Leave the party at the end of the game without saying Good Game

4. Reply with you and your teammates Gamertags and the name of your team
5. Contestants must be LRSD members

Team players

The LRSD want players who want to work as a team. The LRSD members must follow orders and do their job.  These are TEAM games that we play and no one is better then the TEAM.  You don’t have to be the best at the game as long as you are a team player.  There are no ME players in the LRSD. There will be No STAT guys on the LRSD.

Anyone can be a Pub Star and go 27-2 in Pubs. Please stop trying to impress people with your Pub stats. We don’t care..

Serious or Not

The LRSD is not just about competing in Game Battles or other online venues.  We are about having fun and playing as a Team. We have our Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta Team rosters for those who want to take the game more serious and play against other teams.  If you are not interested in playing on Game Battles and just want to play pubs that is fine with the us.  No one is required to play on any of the competitive teams.

Fighting with Other Teams

There will be no fighting with other teams for no reason at all. Show some class when you play the game and don’t just start fights with other teams in Game Battles, Scrims and Pubs for no reason at all. Stick up for yourselves but don’t just go around starting fights.  Remember you are representing the LRSD.

Stop Crying

Please stop crying about other teams using juggernaut, last stand, mods, mp40, knifes or whatever you guys cry about during the game. You guys know people use that stuff all the time so we don’t need to hear about in game.  All it does is make you sound like a b*tch and it leads to fighting with the other team for no reason at all.

Motivation

If you are on one of the competitive teams then show your motivated and get your other team members to play GB’s rather then playing pubs. Get together with at least 4 to 6 of your teammates and play a bunch of GB games.  Its the end of the season so who cares if you lose a lot of games.  You got about two days left so just get some practice in.  All the records reset next season so try and get as much experience as you can.  Playing good teams online and losing is better then playing pubs and winning.

Strategies

Talk to Alpha Team members about some of their strategies so you actually have a clue on what Alpha Team does to make them successful in Game Battles. If you are having problems understanding why things are done a certain way ask questions.

Work on Developing new strategies with your teammates rather then messing with glitches. Have your team actually practice strategies in Pubs instead of running around like jackasses.

Get Involved

Get involved with the team website, forum, etc.. You can do a number of things like write an article, create a new design, forum posting, donate money and so on.

Hardcore or COD 4 Team

Participate in the hardcore or COD 4 team ladder if you are on the roster. This is a golden opportunity for Alpha/Bravo/Charlie/Delta team members to play together.  (Season is closing Tuesday)

Alpha Team

Everyone keeps asking me “Hey Gymbo.. How do I get on Alpha Team?”

Right now the answer to that question is No one is coming to Alpha Team!!! No one has shown they could be trusted and no one has shown they deserved the opportunity.  So stop crying about “When can I get on Alpha Team.”

Actually people will be leaving Alpha Team as soon as the roster unlocks… A couple Alpha Team members will either be let go from the LRSD or just released from Alpha Team.

We are at the final two weeks of the regular season and the LRSD is currently 15th overall and riding an 11 game win streak. We caught up with TakedownSpecial to ask him his thoughts on playoffs.

Takedown said “It’s all about playing your best at the right time.  It’s single elimination so its going to come down to who doesn’t want to go home the most. One things for sure I know the LRSD doesn’t want to go home. ”

How far can the LRSD go in the playoffs? Will they be a threat to take home the title? One thing is for sure I wouldn’t count them out.

Chaos Among the Ranks

All I know right now is that there is just total chaos through out the Bravo/Charlie/Delta scene. (Delta? Yea I just found out there is a Delta) One of these guys should should definitely get on here and explain what is going on.  For some strange reason Bobby Shadow and GrimPunisher were given leadership of Delta Team.

Bobby Shadow vs Feccy J

The match up we all have been waiting for is here.  Feccy J will square off against his rival “The Future of the LRSD” Bobby Shadow.  These two really hate each other and want nothing more then to destory one another. Some say Feccy J is scared Bobby Shadow will one day replace him in the Alpha Team starting lineup.  Others say Bobby Shadow is no where nearly as skilled as Feccy and this is just hyped up nonsense created by Mad Dog and GymboSlice. One things for sure.. There will be tons of drama… So stay tuned.
