Alot of you have been asking about teams, well I can say that rosters are being roughed out, and we do have a gameplan… however, The Council has decided that with it being a new game, and the likelihood of new talent emerging, that everything remain classified until everyone has gotten a feel for the game.

on release day, feel free to explore the game and have fun with it, but know that your leaders will be hard at work picking apart the multiplayer to come up with strategies for you guys.

NEW THINGS…

We will be opening the forums back up very soon, as not only a way for members new and old to talk about many different things, but most importantly a recruiting tool.
We will have a new forum with an application form for new recruits, and a new system of recruiting, pending approval.

also, we are trying to get more info on the members page, especially for the Veterans and long time LRSD members, so please send JigSaVV x a message on XBL or on aim, with your Name, age, location, weapon of choice, and favorite gametype, and we will get your bio updated.

A new game means new challenges, new members, and new things to come, and of course… a new opportunity to dominate.

Things have been pretty slow as of late, as most LRSD members are lying dormant, patiently awaiting the release of Modern Warfare 2, on 11.10.09. No word is out as to what team rosters will be, I guess we will have to wait till the game is released to find out. Expect things to pick up again shortly after.

HeLix is currently sitting proudly atop the Game Battles CoD : WaW Team Ladder at Number 1. With an overall record of 102-6, They are top dogs, and very hard for the LRSD not to notice.  So everyone Please Welcome Team LRSD HeLix.

The LRSD Samwiches have made it into a playoff spot (currently ranked 62nd) with 20 days left in the season, and by the way they have been playing, moving up the ranks should be easy. When JigSaW and Drist started the team at the end of August, with the goal of making it to the playoffs, there were many mixed feelings. Some thought there would never be a Bravo Team that could make it to the top, while others were hopeful.

Drist called upon some old friends to help round out a solid roster which looks like this:

• Scarlett ( aka Gauge)
• TerryG
• Fierce
• Blind Mice
• Brizzzly

and after long negotiations, former Alpha Team member , leVel was added to the roster.

The chemistry formed by Fierce, TerryG, and Blind Mice, has really been the fuel to this teams fire, leading the way with multiple winning streaks.

There is alot of work to be done before playoffs begin, but I think a lot of people will be surprised by the LRSD Samwiches

It was a slow and demoralizing start, with Bravo going 0-2 in their first two matches, one of which JigSaW got the rules wrong ( sorry guys ). But then in true LRSD fashion they pulled their heads out of their asses and won six straight matches, one being against top TDM clan, Legends of Brutality.

Then things fell off track again, and Bravo suffered three straight losses. JigSaW and Gauge did what they do best and brought the motivation and morale of the team back up, and went on to win another five straight matches

Bravos current GB record sits at 11-5, with the future looking bright. Drist had this to say “this team has been really clicking, and everyone is so positive and brings out the best in every body else”

A definite standout has been iTerryG where in two games he has pulled out a four-piece grenade, and a five-piece MP40 slaughter, both bringing Bravo back into the lead, which they were able to hold for the W.

JigSaW

I have noticed that leadership has been thrown overboard and left in the wake of the “old LRSD”. This is not the LRSD that made it to the playoffs for the last 2 seasons. The team has become a bunch of randoms trying to prove themselves instead of a deadly unit that leaves nothing but destruction in its path.

What’s the problem?

The problem is, like I stated before severe lack of leadership. Nobody is stepping up and keeping teammates in their place, instead its a random mash up of ” pub-stars” running around hoping to look like super stars. This is not how to win games.

Another problem I notice is irresponsibility. There is way too much finger pointing and blaming going on. I highly suggest you guys take off the diapers, grow some balls, and take responsibility for mistakes made. If your too much of a “baby” to take blame and a little criticism, WE DON’T WANT YOU. Simply put… Be a man.

Changes

There are a few things that need to change, and change quickly if any body wants to succeed in this summer season.

There will be ONE leader. This is the most important. The leader is the one who makes observations on the battle field, and uses his experience and best judgement to call the plays. Once a decision is made, it will be called out quickly and clearly, and all will follow. If orders are not followed, the leader WILL FORFEIT the match forcing the team to take a loss. Of course if you see something that the leader does not and his call would endanger anyone… Let him know, otherwise deliberate ignorance of orders will result in a loss.

Game chat

During a game, everyone is to remain silent on their mics, until information is to be called out. Then and only then will you speak, clearly and quickly to relay information. Tell us how many enemies, where they are, and if possible… Their loadout (weapons). Other than that and the leaders orders nothing is to be said. Talk is distracting, and makes it hard to listen to the battlefield. Once again if there is too much chatter and ignorance, the leader will forfeit the match.

These are just a few things that will be put into effect immediatly. It is up to you guys if you want to take losses for neglecting these new rules. And if there is anything you don’t like about this, or disagree with anything, I will gladly show you the door. No matter how good you think you are, remember… There is ALWAYS someone better. There are hundreds of players dying for your spot on the team, and you can very easily be replaced, and not missed.

Leaders, step up and take charge of your team and show no mercy. Respect is earned, not given.

Everyone else, do your part to ensure a victory, and take responsibility for your actions and mistakes.

Jigsaw out

The Diaper Returns

Recently The DiaperDandy himself, has been spotted leaving his den where he has spent the whole winter season in hibernation. Now that spring is among us The Diaperdandy, like many beasts of the wild,  must begin anew. He has already gotten a good jump on things, and started a new team, Team LRSD Emotion. The team will be comprised of what was left of Bravo, along with some unnamed members possibly jumping on board (we are still ironing out the details).  Look for Emotion to begin tearing apart the competition in GameBattles

Team LRSD to become Brand Name? 

Recently some loose lips have leaked speculation that Team LRSD may become a brand name. What does this mean? Well… it kind of goes like this, The LRSD is made up of many individuals competing on more than one team, There are also some that would like to compete in other games ( UFC undisputed 2009, perhaps) so to say that Team LRSD is just ONE team is a bit misleading. The reality of it is The LRSD is comprised of many different teams, making it more of a brand name than an individual unit. I wouldn’t be surprised if we started to see “LRSD” appear in front of way more than just Call of Duty Teams. (Team LRSD Pro anyone?…)

JigSaW

The starting roster heading into spring for Bravo will be JigSaw, Battojin, Liath, and Eternal.  Sources say that Russelcrowe will also be making a comeback.  A few members also have potential recruits in the works.

Its going to be a good season, and our goal is to make first page.

Charlie and Delta

As part of the changes taking place, members of Bravo Team were given the opportunity to start their own teams.

• Charlie Team will be Headed by Overdosed and include long time LRSD members Pafinator, and Starnards
• Delta Team is possibly the youngest team the LRSD has seen literally. Leading this team will be Bobby Shadow, and Grim Punisher

The LRSD wishes both of these teams good luck next season.

Back To CoD 4?

Quite a few members of the LRSD have been playing CoD 4, will the LRSD return to 4 and rise to the top? only time will tell, stay tuned.

With such success and popularity, comes many many people interested in joining The LRSD. Due to the current influx of Xbox live mesages, Game Battles messages, etc. etc., I have decided to make this process much easier.
