Hey Guys just want to say that the new design is here and I want to get some opinions on it.  Feel free to tell us what you think. Does it suck? Do you wanna go back to the old design? Is it the greatest thing you ever seen?

Also feel free to tell us what you think of TakedownSpecials new logo.  Takedown finally said he was gonna do work for the team and it looks like he did a good job.

Special Thanks to Magic Wooshy and Takedown for putting in work to get this done.  These guys were a tremendous help.  If it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t have a new design for our website.

Things to Look For:

Old Shout Box: People were crying they want the old shout box back so we said the hell with it bring on that old shout box drama. Feel free to talk trash on whoever you want to be that day.

New Logo: Takedown actually got off his ass and did something.

Fantasy League

Hey guys its Gymbo here again and I figured I’d ask the LRSD again if they are interested in doing a fantasy football league? Last year we had some interest but it wasn’t enough to get a league going.  There would be prizes involved and I’m sure for those who follow the NFL it would be a great time.  If anyone is interested please leave a comment on this blog post and leave an e-mail address so we can contact you with a league invite.

Madden League

Is the LRSD interested in running another Madden League this year? In years passed the LRSD has tempted running a few Madden Leagues but only had limited success.  Most of the failure was due in part because of Gymboslice’s dominance in the Madden League.  During League play in the LRSD Gymbo holds a stellar record of 12-0 and has yet to be challenged by a legitimate contender.  So its understandable if no one wants to do a Madden league. If we have to we won’t allow Gymboslice to take part in the Madden League because he has a long history of dominance.

A few of the old timers made an appearance online last night and went back to work.  Even though it was just public matches it was good to see a lot of the guys back in action. Most of my old squad from Modern Warefare 2 (LRSD Rough House) were on doing battle like old times. Winning came easy but that is to be expected in pub matches.

Some guys have stayed active like Mr. Bone, ManCubb and Ghost and these guys have dramatically improved their game.  ManCubb has risen from prospect to superstar and Mr Bone has gone from inexperienced rookie to a deadly veteran. If you ask me Ghost has pretty much stayed the same but maybe he improved a little and yes he still talks too much.

Some surprise appearances were to see Battojin and Feccy J back in action.  I’m not sure how much these guys still play but for me it was the first time back in action in a long time.  Feccy J as usual had his connection issues and Battobad has managed to stay pretty much BAD. As usual I managed to do work and dominate games like old times.

All in all it was a good night.

Other News Mad Dog and Takedown Return

Mad Dog and Takedown are back in action and they are bringing back the LRSD Hall of Fame Team (you know the team from World at War).  Well if you are interested in playing World at War again contact Takedown or Mad Dog and see if you got the skills to be apart of the team.

Also I know the website hasn’t been as active as it usually is but expect the action pick upcoming months. The LRSD is planning big things as usual.

Gymbo

Hey I am back and here to talk about a new game it’s about soccer I know its not cool to you guys but………so what.

This game only comes out ever four years just like real world cup.

Ok to start of all that has been released are the basics about what’s going to be the main plot of the game. PS the real world cup is in Africa so this is based off of the real world cup.

Now to the review

Near 200 national teams. All the stadiums, and fans creaming there heads of to the world’s biggest sporting event of the year. It’s safe to say EA’s latest World Cup game will be the one to wait for……..for all the soccer fans here.

Sure you can recreate international tournaments in the last game. But with such a big selection. It’s hardly going to be an authentic World Cup experience. According to FIFA 10 most of Africa doesn’t exist. Thankfully, that’s something the new title with all the big African nations like Ghana, Ivory Coast and Togo in there.

EA says it wants to recreate the crazy atmosphere of the world’s most popular sporting tournament. And with pre-match confetti full 3D crowds for all the teams (which includes supporters with face paint, hats and banners……they took it to far) and all 10 stadiums that will be used in South Africa.

Hey guys its Level and today I am going to talk about the new release of Halo Reach Beta. Halo Reach is like Halo 3 but more update and a lot more futuristic than Halo 3 it has brand new Weapons like…….

Covenant weapons……

• Plasma Rifle: The shots slow down as it heats up and it needs to reload instead of recharge. It’s a bit more effective than the old Rifle.
• Plasma Launcher: This thing can send a stream of four plasma explosives then will track any player or vehicle on the other team similar to the Needler.
• Focus Rifle: This is described as a combination of the Sentinel Beam and the Beam Rifle you can zoom in with it and the launch a beam right at YOUR FACE.
• Plasma Repeater: This one’s interesting. Bungie says the Plasma Repeater is the Covenant answer to the UNSC Assault Rifle and replaces the Plasma Rifle. You can lock on to your enemies and get multiple people in one Burst.
• Needle Rifle: The Needler is a classic Halo weapon and it’s back in Reach…. But now it has a BIG DADY. The Needle Rifle is a slower more accurate version of Needler. The old Needler was a killing machine that was at its most dangerous when it fired full clips of pink death at your enemies.
